Who'da thought it?

Elliot Stanton

(8/4/2021) I've taken a break from writing my fifth novel to do something I didn't think I'd ever do again - and that is to write some poetry. At the beginning of February, I was inspired to pen a short witty piece, purely by a passing thought, and now, a little after two months later, I have completed 37 individual poems. Almost all of them are humorous and/or nostalgic rhyming verses, which I hope to make a book of, sometime in the future. I must say, I have really enjoyed writing these little ditties and the response I have received has been universally positive. At least, any negativity towards them haven't provoked comment.
